As a creative, you probably spend hours at your bench, your wheel, or in front of your screen, fully immersed in your craft. I see it all the time with the artists I support, and I’ve been myself too. But over time, all that sitting starts to take a toll.

On average, adults sit for over 9 hours a day and that doesn't include the extra time we spend on our phones. After hours of focused work, it’s natural to reach for a break... but instead of truly resetting, we often end up scrolling. And while it might feel like a pause, it usually keeps us in the same static posture, hips tight, spine compressed, and nervous system overstimulated.

That time spent sitting and scrolling doesn’t just affect your body—it impacts your creativity too.

When we’re sedentary and overstimulated, it’s harder to drop into flow, stay focused, and feel inspired. Our minds wander, our bodies ache, and the creative process starts to feel more like a struggle than a joy.

That’s where this challenge comes in.

Scroll to Squat is your invitation to swap the scroll for a deep squat (or modified squat  to start reclaiming deep, grounding movement that supports both your body and your creative flow.

Over these 5 days, I’ll guide you to:

  • Gently rebuild your ability to deep squat (with plenty of modifications)
  • Improve hip mobility and ease lower back tension
  • Use habit-stacking to naturally integrate movement into your day
  • Create more space, physically and mentally, for your creativity to thrive!

We’re not aiming for perfection, just presence. Let’s start where you are, move with intention, and make space for a new rhythm that truly supports the work you love.
