John Glick was a Ceramic Artist who was enthusiastic about the benefits of standing at the wheel to throw. He taught his studio assistants how to stand in a way that allowed them to use their bodies as leverage and he taught them to create variety in their movements.
I am excited to share that Wellness for Makers and Reset will be at this year’s NCECA conference in Pittsburgh, PA! In case you didn’t know, NCECA, the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, is an awesome conference for ceramic artists. It is a great opportunity to attend amazing lectures, exhibitions, and workshops, and have a great time networking. Come meet us at booth # 429 in the vendor room!
