Down to Basics: Take Breaks


Don't forget to take breaks!
Taking frequent breaks and/or alternating between tasks will help provide enough rest to the most commonly used joints and tissues. When you take a break, be sure to stand up and stretch out your hands, neck, and shoulders. Set a timer as a reminder to take a short break every 30 minutes, and don't forget to stay hydrated! Taking a break gives you the chance to get your muscle and bone groups moving. It also gives your eyes a much-needed rest. Taking breaks can help prevent injury! So take a moment to relax!
