I’m sure you’ve heard the word karma. In the West, it’s often understood to mean “what goes around comes around”. But did you know that the word karma simply translates to “action”? That’s it!
We are living in a time where the world is begging us to take action and it’s true that with every action there is a reaction, and even doing nothing is an action within itself: Action for our bodies, the environment, and for each other.
Your actions matter! Why? Because change is inevitable whether we like it or not and our actions affect how things change. You have an ongoing opportunity to decide whether you want your actions to create a positive or negative impact.
So let’s start by evaluating your physical structure. Your body requires movement. Remember the phrase “if you don’t move it, you lose it”? Well, there is so much truth in that statement. Basically, if you don’t use a particular part of your body for a specific movement, your body will think you no longer need access to that movement. If you stop lifting your arms over your head, for example, your body is going to limit your access to that motion and offer you stability instead by physically laying down extra connective tissue to that area. Then, over time, it will become harder and harder to access that movement.
Your body deserves your attention. That’s why I created a free audio guide for you to enjoy. In this 7 min audio guide, I will teach you how to begin to create connection between your body and breath. When you feel great in your body, it influences the way you respond to the world around you.
You only have one body. Why not start protecting it from physical changes that are proven to cause damage? When you avoid learning more, you avoid creating positive change. Where else in your life can you reevaluate your actions and reactions?
