I have always been drawn to natural environments, especially the ocean and the woods. Shortly after I created Wellness for Makers in 2015, my husband and I temporarily relocated in San Francisco. While we were there, I spent a lot of time in a beautiful place called Land's End. I fell in love with its essence and every visit was a captivating experience. I got lost in the sounds of the crashing waves and walked a labyrinth made of stones. I felt waves of inspiration and creativity for this beautiful business and community. Walking the labyrinth gave me time to focus on my breath, to allow my body to move without thinking about where I had to go next, and to just be quiet and calm. I would leave feeling refreshed and nourished by the natural beauty that surrounded me. I can’t wait to go back in August! I can already hear the waves, feel the mist, and smell the salt in the air. What’s one place you love to go that helps you feel calm and connected?
